Contactless detection of water and other components in liquids and gases
In chemical processes, a poor product quality or an increased energy consumption may be caused by a too high moisture content. The use of transmission-photometers eliminates such risks.
Practical and easy to maintain
Product-moving pumps, valves and filling devices for calibration can be installed in analyser cabinets together with the photometers. It is also possible to lead several material streams one after the other into the measurement device through valves and thus, to obtain fairly continuous measurement values for each stream.
The measurement devices and the attached equipment are protected by the analyser cabinets against influences of the weather and extreme temperature fluctuations, if heaters are installed.
Flameproof encapsulation enables the operation under ex-conditions as well. Maintenance measures can be easily carried out without plant shut down because of the separation of sample media and measuring head. Even a removal of the photometer is possible without interruption of the liquid flow.
