Application in explosion hazardous installations
There are two different types of protection according to ATEX available for the application of our measurement instruments in explosion hazardous environments.
1. Pressure proof encapsulation (EEx de IIC T5)
Parts, which may inflame an explosive ambience are installed in an enclosure that withstands the arising pressure in case of an explosion, caused by an ignition capable mixture inside. With that, a conveyance of the explosion to the surrounding atmosphere of the enclosure shall be inhibited.
2. Pressurized encapsulation (EEx p II T4)
The generation of an explosive mixture shall be prevented by a protective gas that sustains an interior over pressure towards the surrounding atmosphere.
Easy maintenance
Maintenance measures can be easily carried out without plant shut down because of the separation of sample media and measuring head. Even a removal of the photometer is possible without interruption of the liquid flow.
